Info about NOLA Tech Week from the organizers:

NOLA Tech Week is a week-long celebration of our city’s unbelievable accomplishments, unrivaled community and unbridled potential. The week’s events will showcase how our community is utilizing our city’s economic growth to innovate across a myriad of disciplines.

NOLA Tech Week will bring together businesses and individuals at the forefront of innovation, technology, and culture. Focused on the entire greater New Orleans community, NOLA Tech Week will connect professionals from all over, ranging from tech companies, entertainment businesses, government agencies, environmental organizations, nonprofits as well as health and science leaders. NOLATech Week is the future of New Orleans innovation.

Jason Seidman, the lead volunteer, describes it as a BearCamp meets New Orleans Entrepreneur Week meets Tales of the Cocktail. Here’s more info about the event.
There are 35 events planned, involving more than 75 local businesses, nonprofits and organizations. Seidman said registrants are coming from 10 different states and all over Louisiana. Should be a good time.
