It’s Museum Day (Sept. 28, 2013) and several museums in New Orleans are waiving admission – but you have to print a ticket via the Smithsonian’s website.

Important – the ticket is good for two people only. If you have more than two people (group of friends), make sure people print their own tickets.

The Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans in April is doing a self-guided walking tour of several shotgun homes in the Uptown area.
Advance tickets are $16 for PRC members and $20 for nonmembers.
