We’re multitasking this evening – networking and watching Krewe of Muses (more). Muses is an all-female parade known for its throws (glitter shoes!).

The Youth Leadership Council of New Orleans has a membership mixer tonight at The Columns. Info via the website (more info):

The carnival season has officially started and we want to give you an opportunity to get in on the action! Join us for the February Membership Mixer on Thursday February 7 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. as we live it up Mardi Gras-style with the Krewe of Muses at The Columns Hotel.

But, we’re told the side of the road is a perfectly acceptable place to watch the parade. We’ve seen a few pictures of people already staking out their spots along the route.
